Moheen Reeyad has been involved as a member of the Executive Committee of Wikimedia Bangladesh since 2016. An active Wikimedian, he has been involved with the Wikimedia movement since 2010. He started contributing to Wikimedia projects as a registered user, about thirteen years ago. Currently, he is active in almost all Bengali language projects including Bangla Wikipedia, and Bangla Wikivoyage, besides Wikimedia Commons, Wikidata and Meta-Wiki. Apart from being active online, he is involved in Bengali Wikipedia enrichment campaign activities. He actively conducts various workshops and educational activities for Wikimedia Bangladesh. In early 2014, he formed the first regional user community under Wikimedia Bangladesh named Chattogram WikiCommunity to plan, manage and enrich Wikimedia operations in Chattogram. He worked as Director of Planning and Outreach since the formation of the first Operations Committee. He is currently an administrator on Bengali Wikipedia (since April 2015) and Wikimedia Commons (since April 2017). He is a former admin (2018-19) of Bangla Wikivoyage (2018-19). He was also a member of the Ombudsman commission under the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees, for the term 2021-22. He was also a former member of the Volunteer Response Team (2017-21) and the Global renamer team. He currently has 2,20,000+ edits across various Wikimedia projects. He was also a Local ambassador of Wikipedia to the Moon (2016) and worked as a Google Code-in Mentor for Wikimedia in 2019.
