Hi, I’m Delwar Hossain (দেলোয়ার), a Bangladeshi journalist and Wikimedian. I currently serve as the elected General Secretary of Wikimedia Bangladesh, the recognized Wikimedia chapter in Bangladesh.

I have been contributing to Wikimedia projects since 2016, with a focus on visual content, content development, and community engagement. I am affiliated with Wikimedia Bangladesh, a Wikimedia movement chapter that works to promote open knowledge by supporting participation and content development across Wikimedia projects, particularly Bengali Wikipedia and other Bangla-language platforms in Bangladesh.

I have also been involved in organizing and supporting activities and events that contribute to the growth of the Wikimedia movement in Bangladesh.

My current work includes the Wikipedia Education Program and GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums) initiatives. I am also involved in advocacy and collaboration with different organizations to support open knowledge and the Wikimedia movement.

I am the founder of the Chandpur Wikipedia Community, which is under the umbrella of Wikimedia Bangladesh.
